Summary:
The Clinical Educator acts as expert clinician in educating hospital staff on clinical processes, procedures and information.
In collaboration with the medical staff and nursing staff, the Clinical Educator monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical consultation to improve patient care and patient outcomes.
The Clinical Educator acts as a role model and leader, change agent to improve clinical care, and cost-effective nurse.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education:
Masters Degree in health related field with a clinical focus and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Licenses/Certification:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience:
Three years clinical nursing experience within the last five years, and three years educational experience.
