You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Interview patients and document basic medical history Assist in getting complete patient history including current medication, family and surgical history, hospitalization, etc Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Draw labwork and manage patient refills Check with patients and type up patients charts Assist during medical examinations and minor procedures Administer vaccine, immunizations and injections Perform EKG, PFT (Spirometry) (training will be provided) Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments We use eClinicalWorks as EHR.
We are closed on all the major holidays.
Schedule is between 8am to 5pm.
